Married at 19 and had two children early; finally got around to finishing college at Marshall University in Huntington, WVa in 1972 while employed at Ashland Oil in Ashland, Ky. Entered the Navy upon college completion, and served as a Naval Aviator until 1997. Commanded Patrol Squadron FIVE from 1989-1990, and retired after completing a tour as Director of Plans and Policy for Naval Forces Central Command, where I split time between Tampa, Fl and Manama, Bahrain. After retiring taught NJROTC for four years at a Tampa high school, then returned to work as a contractor, where I worked at US Central Command, and then at US Special Operations Command, both located at MacDill AFB, FL. Fully retired in 2012. Now enjoy golf, fishing, and traveling with my wonderful wife Sonia.
