As the exchange student at Fairfax High School in 1964/65 I am looking forward to reunite with old class mates at the 50th reunion. After completing my secondary education in Norway I spent two years in the Norwegian Army, studied political science, economics, public and international law, and international relations at the University of Oslo, and European Studies at the University of Strasbourg, France. Spent ten years in academics before joining the Norwegian Ministry of Defence as a policy analyst and made my career there. Have lived much abroad after I returned from Fairfax: 1 year in France, 4 years in Washington, DC, 5 years in Brussels, Belgium, and 4 years in Geneva, Switzerland. Not retired yet but probably will in 2016.
